Balutan Madu Kapok (Ceiba pentandra) untuk Mengatasi Masalah Keperawatan Gangguan Integritas Jaringan pada Ulkus Kaki Diabetik

Ulkus kaki diabetik adalah masalah paling umum pada penderita diabetes melitus (DM). Penggunaan madu untuk perawatan luka kaki diabetik di ruang perawatan masih belum pernah digunakan. Perawatan luka di ruang perawatan masih menggunakan obat topikal modern. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui keefektifan pemberian madu kapok (Ceiba pentandra) terhadap masalah keperawatan gangguan integritas jaringan pada ulkus kaki diabetik pada asuhan keperawatan pasien DM tipe 2. Desain penelitian yaitu studi kasus. Sampel penelitian yaitu satu orang pasien yang dirawat di RSUD dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo yang diambil menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan SOP balutan madu randu dengan dosis setiap 2 hari sekali sebanyak 5 kali intervensi, dan instrumen skala BWAT untuk menilai keadaan luka. Metode analisis menggunakan proses asuhan keperawatan. Total skor penilaian pre-post test terhadap luka menggunakan skala BWAT menunjukkan penurunan di setiap intervensi (hari ke-5 dari skor 18 ke 17). Perawatan luka dengan balutan madu randu dapat mengatasi masalah keperawatan gangguan integritas jaringan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan indikator penurunan skor skala BWAT dari pre-test ke post-test.Referensi
