Jurnal Sains dan Kesehatan (JSK), with ISSN 2407-6082, is a platinum open-access scientific journal managed and published online by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Since 2024, the journal is published regularly every four months, specifically in January, May, and September. Jurnal Sains dan Kesehatan accepts scientific manuscripts in the form of original research articles, research reports, review articles (reviews/mini-reviews), and case reports from all backgrounds without discrimination, provided that the submitted manuscripts comply with the applicable scientific writing rules and guidelines.

As an inclusive journal, Jurnal Sains dan Kesehatan is committed to presenting high-quality articles from various institutional backgrounds. The journal welcomes manuscripts written by researchers, academics, and practitioners, whether they reside in East Kalimantan, across Indonesia, or internationally.

Jurnal Sains dan Kesehatan publishes various scientific articles that comprehensively examine the fields of Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences. The scope includes:

Publication Profile and History

Jurnal Sains dan Kesehatan (e-ISSN 2407-6082, p-ISSN 2303-0267) is an ISSN-registered journal originally established to publish four times a year in 2015.

  • 2016: Publication frequency changed to twice a year.

  • 2021: Publication frequency increased to 6 times a year (once every 2 months).

  • 2024: Publication frequency was adjusted to every 4 months, specifically in January, May, and September.

The journal is published online by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan. In its publication process, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University does not charge any fees of any kind.

Jurnal Sains dan Kesehatan is accredited by SINTA. It accepts original manuscripts (Research Articles, Review Articles, and Case Studies) both experimental and theoretical in the following fields: Science and Health (Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Nutrition, and others). The publication goal of the journal is to provide scientific information on the development of science and technology in the fields of Science and Health.

Journal Website History Notes:

  • The journal (https://jsk.farmasi.unmul.ac.id) was previously managed using Open Journal Systems (OJS) with a domain from a private, third-party provider.

  • In early 2024, the site was hacked, resulting in the loss of all data.

  • Access to the domain could not be restored because it was managed by a third party and lacked a local backup.

  • Journal management was subsequently transferred to the more secure, official ICT domain of Mulawarman University.

  • The journal was rebuilt using a new OJS (https://jsk.ff.unmul.ac.id) and is now directly managed by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University.
