Abstract

Karsinoma kolorektal merupakan penyakit keganasan epitel usus besar dan rektum dengan angka kejadian dan mortalitas yang tinggi. Pasien usia lanjut (geriatri) merupakan populasi yang membutuhkan perhatian, di mana angka kejadian karsinoma semakin banyak. Karakteristik klinikopatologik merupakan parameter penting yang membantu pemahaman karsinogenesis pada kasus keganasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan profil klinikopatologik antara pasien geriatri (≥65 tahun) dengan non geriatri, berupa jenis kelamin, indeks massa tubuh, lokasi tumor, dan jumlah mitosis pada kasus karsinoma kolorektal. Penelitian dilakukan secara retrospektif dengan metode potong lintang, dengan mengambil data rekam medis pasien RS Atma Jaya periode Januari 2021 hingga September 2025. Sampel penelitian adalah pasien yang terdiagnosis karsinoma kolorektal dengan pemeriksaan Patologi Anatomi. Penelitian menemukan kasus karsinoma kolorektal pada pasien perempuan ditemukan pada usia yang lebih muda ketimbang pasien laki-laki (64,2 vs 67,4 tahun), serta karsinoma kolorektal pada kolon kanan ditemukan pada rerata usia yang lebih tua dibandingkan kolon kiri dan rektum (68,75 vs 64,5 tahun). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan prevalence odds ratio (POR), kemungkinan ditemukannya obesitas dan jumlah mitosis yang tinggi lebih besar dibandingkan pasien non-geriatri (POR 1,5).  Pada pasien geriatri dengan karsinoma kolorektal, juga terdapat lebih besar kemungkinan tumor ditemukan di sisi kanan ketimbang pasien non-geriatri (POR 2,33).
