Abstract

Gangguan bipolar merupakan gangguan jiwa yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan fungsional pasien. Gangguan bipolar bersifat persisten meski dalam kondisi eutimik. Telah banyak studi terkait efektivitas mood stabilizer dan antipsikotik pada gangguan bipolar, namun masih sedikit studi terkait efek kombinasi terapi mood stabilizer dan antipsikotik terhadap kemampuan fungsional pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian kombinasi terapi mood stabilizer dan antipsikotik terhadap kemampuan fungsional pasien dengan gangguan bipolar afektif di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Grhasia Yogyakarta. Desain penelitian ini adalah kohort retrospektif. Data diperoleh dari rekam medis rawat inap RSJ Grhasia Yogyakarta periode Januari-Desember 2018. Sebanyak 46 pasien masuk dalam kriteria inklusi, 38 mendapat kombinasi terapi valproat + antipsikotik dan 8 mendapat kombinasi terapi litium + antipsikotik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara pemberian kombinasi mood stabilizer dan antipsikotik terhadap kemampuan fungsional pasien gangguan afektif bipolar [Odds Ratio (OR) = 1,71; 95% Confidence Interval(CI): 0,37 –7,95 ; p = 0,963)
