Abstract

Infeksi Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan global. Terapi antiretroviral (ARV) efektif meningkatkan harapan dan kualitas hidup pasien, namun sering disertai reaksi obat yang merugikan (adverse drug reactions/ADR) yang dapat menurunkan kenyamanan dan kepatuhan terapi. Suplementasi vitamin D berpotensi menjadi terapi adjuvan karena perannya sebagai imunomodulator dan pengaruhnya terhadap fungsi fisik serta psikologis pasien HIV.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh suplementasi vitamin D terhadap kualitas hidup dan kejadian ADR pada pasien HIV/AIDS yang menjalani terapi ARV.

Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental one group pretest–posttest dilakukan di Puskesmas Rapak Mahang, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Sebanyak 32 pasien HIV diikutsertakan. Kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan WHOQOL-HIV BREF sebelum dan sesudah suplementasi vitamin D selama delapan minggu. Kejadian ADR dinilai melalui pemantauan terstruktur. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed-rank dan uji McNemar.

Hasil: Seluruh responden berada dalam kondisi imunologis stabil (CD4 >500 sel/µL). Setelah intervensi, terjadi peningkatan bermakna pada domain fisik, psikologis, dan kemandirian serta kualitas hidup global (p < 0,001), disertai penurunan signifikan ADR gastrointestinal dan neurologi/psikologis (p ≤ 0,001).

Kesimpulan: Suplementasi vitamin D berasosiasi dengan perbaikan kualitas hidup dan penurunan ADR tertentu pada pasien HIV yang menjalani terapi ARV, serta berpotensi sebagai terapi adjuvan.
