Kombinasi Pijat Effleurage Dan Aromaterapi Lemon Terhadap Intensitas Nyeri Pada Remaja Dengan Dismenore Primer

Abstract

Dismenore atau nyeri haid merupakan masalah ginekologis yang sering dialami remaja putri dan dapat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Dismenore primer terjadi tanpa kelainan patologis pada organ reproduksi, umumnya dipicu peningkatan prostaglandin yang menyebabkan kontraksi uterus berlebihan dan iskemia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai efektivitas kombinasi pijat effleurage dan aromaterapi lemon dalam menurunkan intensitas dismenore primer pada remaja putri di SMA Negeri Sentolo, Yogyakarta, sekaligus mendukung pengembangan terapi non-farmakologis yang aman. Desain penelitian menggunakan kuasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan one-group pre-test post-test. Sebanyak 20 partisipan berusia 16–18 tahun dengan dismenore primer dan skor nyeri awal rata-rata 6 (Numeric Rating Scale/NRS) dilibatkan. Intervensi diberikan pada fase luteal, sekitar dua minggu sebelum menstruasi, berupa enam sesi pijat effleurage dan aromaterapi lemon melalui diffuser, masing-masing selama 20 menit. Pengukuran nyeri menggunakan NRS tervalidasi (r = 0,46; α = 0,90). Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata intensitas nyeri menurun signifikan sebesar 63,3%, dari 6,00 (nyeri sedang) menjadi 2,20 (nyeri ringan). Uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank menghasilkan p-value = 0,004 (α < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Dengan demikian, kombinasi pijat effleurage dan aromaterapi lemon efektif mengurangi dismenore primer serta dapat dijadikan alternatif terapi non-farmakologis yang aman dan preventif.
